My timeframe for building my own is 3-5 years. I currently have available a temporary shop in which I can use this equipment in a limited way... only one piece running at a time... certain hours of the day etc. etc. Unfortunately, due to a recent death in the family, the property (and shop) will most likely be sold in the next 1-2 years. So, while I have an alternate place to keep this equipment in the interim, I wouldn't be able to use it. I dislike the idea of this equipment just sitting so much, I would rather see it in the hands of someone who would make immediate use of it. Are you that someone?
